Payment
Ixora Botanical Beauty accepts payments via Paypal. You will receive a payment receipt after you complete your order. If there are issues checking out, or if you're interested in making a customized purchase, please contact us using the contact form. We’ll respond within 24 hours.

Why haven't I received my shipping confirmation information?
Orders are usually processed within 7 business days. During sale periods it may increase to 10 business days. We will notify customers when we are experiencing order-processing delays longer than 10 days. If you have questions regarding your order, or if you’re interested in requesting expedited order-processing, please contact us using the contact form. We’ll respond within 24 hours.

I haven't been receiving emails from Ixora. Why not?
Be sure to adjust your spam settings to categorize IxoraBotanicalBeauty@gmail(.)com as a safe email address so our correspondence is not filtered.

My cart is emptying when I try to checkout. I'm using the Safari browser.
You'll want to make sure your browser is not blocking cookies. That is usually the issue. You'll need to visit the 'privacy' tab in your browser options. Next to the 'Block Cookies' option, choose "never." Save these changes, then exit your browser. Reopen your browser, return to our site, reload your cart, and you shouldn't have any issues checking out. In the event that you cannot remedy this issue, just contact us via email. We'll send you an invoice for your purchase.

Shipping
All orders are shipped via USPS First class mail, USPS Priority Mail, or USPS Express Mail, with delivery confirmation. Signature Confirmation™ can be provided for extra security, at an extra cost. Please contact us for specialized shipping accommodations. Please make sure the address you provide through PayPal is correct. If you are purchasing a gift package, please provide that shipping address thru PayPal, in the notes section. While we will do everything in our power to try and remedy incorrect shipping address issues, we cannot be responsible for orders that are delivered to incorrect addresses.

My container is broken or my product has leaked. What do I do?
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your damaged product, with your name and address, and order #. We will process your product replacement within 3 business days.

Do you accept returns?
Returns are not accepted due to the personal, cosmetic nature of our products. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your order, please contact us within 3 business days of receipt. We’ll try our best to accommodate your concerns.

My order isn't what I expected. How can you help me?
If you are unsatisfied with your order, contact us as soon as possible so we may remedy the situation.

I placed my order a while ago and I haven't received it yet. What's going on?
All Ixora products are handmade and made to order. While order processing normally happens within 7 business days, sale events, holidays and vacations can cause delays. We will always notify you when a delay is imminent.

What type of shea butter are you using?
Shea Nilotica is a premium Certified Organic shea butter produced from the fruit of the Vitellaria Nilotica sub-species of the Karite tree, which grows across Northern Uganda. Softer in texture with a very mild aroma and a light yellow color, it is one of the finest shea butters on the market.

Are there nuts in your products?
Some of our products do indeed contain byproducts of nuts. If you have a nut allergy, please be sure to read product descriptions to prevent any ordering mishaps.

I received my butter and it's too firm/too soft/gritty.
Not all butters are made equal, but they all offer advantages. There are differing degrees of firmness and softness. Shea butter tends to be somewhat soft, while mango butter is firm and kokum butter is hard. If your butter is gritty, it is more than likely crystallized due to low temperatures. Grit will emulsify with increased temperature. It is important that you do not microwave your products. Microwaves apply unnatural forms of heat to the oils, which compromises the composition of the product. If your product gets too hot during shipping, place it in the refrigerator for 1-3 hours.

Where do I apply the products?
Instructions for use will be included in product descriptions. Many of the products can be used on different parts of the body. Remember, for the butters especially, a little goes a long way. The oils in the butters will emulsify and melt into your skin, so it’s unnecessary to use a lot.

Can Ixora Botanical Beauty products be used on children?
Yes, our products are made for all ages. We ask that you are careful with Ixora products around your little ones. The fragrances can entice children to eat the products, and while there are no toxins present, we want to ensure your children do not consume ingredients that are not meant to be consumed.

Are your fragrances natural?
While it is a priority to seek natural fragrances, many popular scents cannot be obtained naturally in nature.

I’ve never used these products before. How can I be sure they’re safe for me?
To ensure your experience with Ixora Botanical Beauty products are successful, perform a skin test before using each unique product. If rash or irritation occurs, please discontinue use. If your condition worsens, contact your physician.
