Meet Act Right 10% Mandelic Acid Serum, Ixora's exfoliating gel serum for the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone, dullness, and rough texture. Created with sensitive, melanin-rich skin in mind, Act Right pairs exfoliation with hydrating ingredients in a silky, cushioned gel.

10% mandelic acid and 1% gluconolactone (PHA) help lift away dead surface skin for a smoother-looking, more radiant complexion. Ectoin, panthenol, and propanediol bring moisture support to the formula, alongside a seven-plant botanical blend.

If other exfoliating actives have felt like too much, Act Right offers another option to introduce gradually. The gel spreads easily and thins into a lightweight, glossy layer.

The formula

• 10% mandelic acid: an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) for surface exfoliation and more even-looking tone.
• 1% gluconolactone: a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) with exfoliating and humectant properties.
• 0.5% ectoin + 1% panthenol: skin-conditioning ingredients that support hydration.
• 2% botanical blend: seven plant extracts, listed individually in the ingredient declaration.

A note for reactive skin: This is an exfoliating acid serum. Start slowly, patch test, and let your skin's response guide frequency. Do not use on irritated or compromised skin.

How to use

Patch test before use. At night, apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin, avoiding eyes and lips. Start once weekly and increase to 2–3 nights weekly only as tolerated. Follow with moisturizer. Avoid other exfoliants and retinoids on the same night when introducing this serum. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning.

Caution: For external use only. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Stop use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
